Good Egg Awards - Europe

Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) is a UK-based organization and a leader in farm animal welfare issues. Every year they hold the Good Egg Awards. The awards are open to all well-known food retailers, manufacturers, service operators, corporate with staff catering and public sector bodies based in Europe.

 

The winners have implemented a 100% cage free egg policy or have declared that they will do so in the near future. The awards are a way to celebrate the companies who have gone cage-free and it encourages others to follow. You can visit www.thegoodeggawards.com for more information.

Good Egg Awards in Canada

The Good Egg Awards may be coming to Canada!

 

CIWF has asked the Vancouver Humane Society if we would be interested in launching our own Good Egg Awards Program in Canada. Naturally we said yes! If you know of a company or facility that has a 100% cage-free egg policy, or is moving in that direction, please nominate them by sending us an email. We hope to have enough award recipients to host an awards event in the near future.
